Inspired by Rogue Farms Dream Rye, this ale was originally brewed as a special one-
time holiday gift exclusively for Rogue employees. It was such a hit that at the urging of Brewmaster John Maier, we decided to share it with the world.
Taste the terroir of the Dream Rye, with full malt body throughout and plenty of hops in the finish. We all enjoyed it and know you will too.

Light brown frothy head stayed on a reddish brown hazy body. Malt, dark berry & toffee aroma. Medium bodied, thick over the tongue with average carbonation & a cloying aft. Taste is as the aroma with sweet berries, caramel, toffee, pine, rye, malt & marmalade.

Keg at Three Johns. It pours hazy brown with a small off-white head. The aroma is rich, oily, resinous, pine, spicy rye, brown bread, toffee and orange marmalade. The taste is dry, good hit of bitterness, oily, resinous, toffee, pithy, zesty, oily orange, spicy, rye bread and some warmth from the alcohol. Lingering chewy bitter and resinous finish. Medium+ body and fine, prickly carbonation. Big and brash. A tasty big rye IPA. Enjoyable.

Bottle. Pours a hazy orange-borwn colour with a beige head. Aroma of ammonia, weed, bread, pine, dried fruit and sap. Hoppy flavour of pine, grass, little caramel, grapefruit and sap. Has a slick mouthfeel, medium to full body, medium to heavy bitterness. A very hoppy IPA with malty undertones. Maybe a bit unbalanced, but anyway tasteful and aromatic.

Bottle at Taps Beer Bar, Changkat, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a murky reddish dark brown with a thin broken white head and a little broken lace. The aroma is grainy malt, tropical fruit hop. The flavour is moderate bitter light sweet with a smooth, rich grainy malt, fruity, sharp, floral, aromatic hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

$6.99 bomber, Market Street Wine Shop Uptown. Pours reddish brown with a soft beige head. Aroma of pine, licorice, rye, resin. Honestly, I donβt like the aroma. Flavor is pine, resin, rye, minor citrus. Slightly sweet in the end, which makes this more interesting than had it been a straight resin bomb. And actually I enjoy it the further it goes.
