Bottle from Beer Republic. Hoppy and malty aroma with caramel, fruity notes, pine, touch of citrus and grapefruit. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet with a bitter finish. Body is medium. Proper Red IPA, bitter, nice hop and malt balance.

Deep amber colour, fairly clean, with a big frothy beige head, very long lasting with wavy creamy lacing. Roasted barley aromas with some sweetness from the caramel malts and mild citrus notes from the hops. Flavours from an amber ale with the roasted and caramel malts. Hoppy, but not too crazy with light alcohol warming. Seems to get dryer as I sip, and more bitter. Nothing too complex, but quite drinkable.

Found on tap at Brewskey in Montréals old town. Has an aroma of good darker hops with some brief grain hints. In the looks department it has modest head and a dark brown body. Flavour is reliable hop notes but no complexity in the mix. Medium finish. It’s a good IPA but doesn’t stand out in a crowd.

A reddish copper DIPA with a thin light mocha head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with light grassy hops, light treacle notes, light fruity esters, pleasant. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity caramel malt with light resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light treacle, pleasant. On tap at L’autre oeil.
