Clear gold. Lots of head. Quite winey, some pepper notes. Pretty enjoyable imo..

Fine bleach white head, clear yellow body with minimal carbonation. Nice complex aroma that resembles gueuze or lambic, white wine notes for sure and hints of wheat grain in thar. A bit of agitated yeast dudes hangin’ around too. Flavour is a subtle saison with a lot of white wine on the edges; not necessarily too much but it does stand out. I’d say it’s a good mix and a successful experiment, like a beer/wine cocktail mixed together all sensitive-like. Good for a lighter option, nice acid would work well with lots of pork products that I am now dreaming about devouring....

Tap. Pours clear deep golden, small off-white head, decent lacing. Aroma is pretty heavily white wine dominated, some oak tannin, lemon. Flavor is lightly tart, light residual sweetness, very light bitterness. Dominant white wine notes. Light plus body. Not bad but a bit of a one-hit wonder.

Keg at Drink of Ages as karbach FUN series 014 barrel aged saison(probably a typo). Pretty sure this is the same thing. It pours clear amber with minimal head. The aroma is sweet, sticky, gingerbread, grape skin, fruit cake, cereal and something almost menthol on the back-end. The taste is crisp, light bitterness, cereal, toasted grain, quite sweet, sticky, vinous, peppery spice, but of alcohol elderflower and gooseberry with a dry finish. Medium body and low carbonation. A bit sweet and sticky. Sounds good, but doesn’t quite deliver.

On cask at Flying Saucer BeerFeast. Pours a cloudy orange with no head. The aroma is a strong grape and white wine. Thin mouthfeel with a sweet grape and wheat with light dry finish. Easy to drink a good saison from Karbach.
