Forged in the backwoods of the north, this beer is deeply rewarding. Despite its dark ruby-brown appearance, this one goes down smooth, crisp, and perhaps a bit nutty. A mixture of chocolate and honey malts lend to rich cocoa flavors followed by dry, roasted notes, and enough sweetness that lingers until your next sip.

475ml can, many thanks to pictoman and BeerPlace. Shared with Finn. Unclear dark orange-brown body, big off-white head, rich lacing. Brown malty aromas, earthy, promising. Similar taste of nuts, earth, and caramel malts. Soft malty ending, mid-sweet. Medium bodied. Quite alright. (Tromsø, 07.06.2025).

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Amber colour, tan foamy head and aroma of roasted malt, caramel, nutty. Taste is sweetish, malty, caramel, bread, roasty hint, chocolate, tangy, with nutty bitterness. Medium bodied, medium carbonation, drying nutty bitter finish. Quite OK.
