Can via the lcbo.
Clear copper pour, small white head. Light toasty, nuttyy aroma with some nice cereal malts, and hints of toffee. Light carb, solid mouthfeel. Nutty finish with a faint hoppy bitterness.

This one has a decent appearance with good head and an apricot flavoured body, aroma of sweet corn - close to sickly but they manage to pull it back just in time. The flavour is apricot with notes of caramel. What’s supposed to be an amber beer tastes a whole lot like a peach witbier. It’s a total miss, but still drinkable.

Canette 473ml.

This lager poured a dark amber colour with a big beautiful white head. To the nose there are scents of cream, horse blanket, hay, and light toast. First sip was smooth with flavours of toast, hay and very light hops. Finish is light and toasty.

Single can and new, from the LCBO. Pours a deep amber colour with an off-white cap that leaves decent lacing. Sweet caramel malt nose with hints of butterscotch and light hop. Smooth, slightly creamy, mouthfeel. The taste is quite mild, with the caramel and grain. Very light bitterness in the finish from the hop and a little roasted malt in the aftertaste. Not a fan of ambers, but this one is actually quite nice, especially for a lighter 4.2% ABV one. Goes down well for summer... even room temperature.

smells a little hoppy with some caramel. Pours with creamy head, though lacing is minimal. Soft carbonation with amber colour. Bitter aftertaste that verges on astringency. Tall can fromlcbo
