Beer drunk for Easter Saturday after a traditional Christian dinner of gyoza and sake. Beautiful dark color and nitro head. Lightly malty and rather hoppy nose. Great smooth flavor, big hop bitterness almost perfectly balanced with brown sugar sweetness, citrusy with super smooth roasted notes. I love an imperial that's not overly sweet and has sufficient hops... This is SO GOOD!

Can. Very dark brown. Not much nitro. Very small head. Aroma and taste, however was really good. Chocolatey and tasty.

Can from Beer Republic. Aroma is roasted malt and chocolate with coffee, mocha, dark chocolate, roasty finish. Moderate sweet with a firm bitterness. Body is a bit thin but slightly creamy. Fundamentally sound.

A: hazy black, stable, foamy, beige head.
A: 'caffè crema', fondant, chestnut, toast, tobacco.
T: sweetish mocha, fondant, bitter toast, brown bread.
F: earthy hops, bitter coffee & toast, hidden alcohol.
P: medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation.
Lacks some body for a genuine Imperial Stout but remains firmly in 'classic' territory. Guinness squared, as it were.

Beautiful as Nitro usually is, black, a head is creamy, quite big and beige. Aroma has liquorice, light roastiness and caramel. Taste has roastiness body, some coffee and bitterness. Almost full bodied, smooth as silk. Maybe too much of roastiness.

Black with creamy nitro head. Lots of dark chocolate. Very heavily roasted malt. Almost towards smokey. Creamy mouthfeel.

Ein mit Stickstoff aufgespritztes Imperial Stout mit 9% alc -also kein leichtes Vergnügen, dafür aber erfreut es mit saftigen Kakao-Aromen, gepaart mit schwarzer Schokolade. Ein wirklich intensives Stout, das aber wirklich gestaltet ist und ein harmonisches Gesamtkonstrukt. Kein einfaches Bier, aber es zahlt sich aus, es kennenzulernen.

Can. Malty aroma and taste, roastyness, chocolate, medium bitter. Medium to full body, malty bitter finish. Ok.

Can. Dark brown color with nice off-white creamy and dense nitro head. Aroma is chocolate, roasty, a little bit grainy. Taste is dark chocolate, smooth, a bit black bread, mild bitterness in the back. Velvety mouthfeel. Nice!
