Klare goldene Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Malziger Geruch mit Honig und Karamell. Geschmacklich malzig mit Honig und Karamell. Hohe Süße mit leichter Bitterkeit, voller Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

Bottle picked up from a supermarket near Attersee and consumed at home Thursday 23rd May 2024 listening to Huw Stephens on 6Music it's Round Table, cooking (warming up) a Thomasina Miers recipe Chilli with all the extras. Pours warm gold with a white head. Soft mouthfeel, a little sweetness, the honey showing. This certainly doesn't taste like a 7% beer but it's very pleasant.

Shared with HP. Thank you. Smooth mild beginning. Easy to drink, very mild and soft, no bitterness. Soft caramel and smooth malt in the back. Fruity mild and soft.

330 ml bottle from Beer Store Vienna.
Copper, clear body, with a big, fluffy, lacing, yellowish head.
Aroma of caramel, honey, dark bread, nuts, dark berries, some spices, slight alcohol.
Taste follows this, with more toasty notes and even some bitter and citric hops.
Medium, creamy mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes roasty, medium bitter, spicy, a bit hoppy, moderate sweet, with some alcohol.
Very nice. Really well integrated honey, just providiing some sweet spiciness. Otherwise quite manifold, with toasty, bready, sweet and also some hoppy notes greatly balanced. Very good, quaffable example of both, Dunkler Bock and honey beer.
