Optisch leicht trüb, ordentlich Perlung und Schaum. In der Nase schön hopfig und Getreide. Im Trunk kernig süffig, ordentlich hopfig, dazu süffig süß, nicht zu bitter, tolles Pils.

500 ml bottle. Cloudy yellow with a fluffy head. Grassy hops, grain, hay, citrus, pale biscuit malt, bread. Mild hoppy zesty bitterness, grainy sweetness. Light to medium bodied, oily watery texture, lively carbonated, dry hoppy grainy finish. Decent.

Bottle picked up from Sulzberger Bierhaus Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm and consumed at home Monday 3rd July 2023 listening to Tom Ravenscroft and Deb Grant on 6Music we had what amounted to a Beef Carbonnade Pie (Mashed Potato topping not pastry). Pours hazy yellow gold with a large white head. Soft mouthfeel, a little grainy cereal, malty, some grassy hops. Good.

Appearance: cloudy gold with a moderate white frothy head of good retention. Aroma: spicy noble hop, malt, straw. Taste: light sweet, light to medium bitter. Malt, peppery hop, hay. Pleasant hoppy ending and aftertaste. Mouth feel: light to medium body, average carbonation. Overall: fairly drinkable.
