Bottle (Gabe aus Garching!!!): An incredible gusher!!! Deep amber coloured, presumably hazy, huge loose tanned head, that rather quickly collapses, moderate sweet-sourish aroma of dark and toasted malt with distinctive traces of - surprise- tonka-beans and less distinctive traces of chocolate; moderate - drier - bitter-sweet flavour, supported by a slight acidith, hardly medium-bodied, fizzy; shorter dryish bitter-sweet chocolatey finish with returning tonka-beans. Nice brew with some even nicer mistakes...

0,33l bottle at home bought from Grillamt.com. BB 05.05.2021. dark brown color, small tan head. smells milk chocolate, tonka, spices, light nutmeg, cinamon, sweet spices. very nice smell. medium body, pearly carbonation. tastes xmas spices, specoloos, tonka, nutmeg, cinnamon, strong taste of bitter almonds / marzipan, lightly nutty. finishes bitter and lightly sweet with notes of specoloos, nutmeg and xmas spices. good beer, 2 things that distract a bit, this one has way too much carbonation (i guess something went wrong there), and the spices are just too overpowering, intense specoloos / marzipan experience. could use some roastyness contra the spices, or a bit more body overall. overall interesting and nice beer, but just not that easy to drink.

Bottle from the brewery. Cloudy brown, low head. Intense tonka aroma, chocolate, vanilla and blueberry. Relatively lighbodied, berryskin dry, light oatmeal, chalk, roast, old wood, retrotonka nose. Does what it says on the label, I find it a little bit unbalanced though.

Bottle picked up from, Bierol Webshop, Schwoich, Austria and consumed at home, Attenkirchen, Sunday 17th May 2020, we had Tray Bake Chicken, Plums and Shallots listened to British Sea Power - The Decline of British Sea Power and now listening to Cinerama - Torino. Pours dirty, grey/brown not too much of a head. Light chocolate in the mouth, tonka and a little watery coffee. The aroma is mostly tonka but certainly not overpowering. It's good, a little thin but good.
