Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is lots of cocoa with coconut, tonka beans, roasted malt, mocha, vanilla. Coconut and tonka in relative harmony. Flavour is medium sweet with a moderate roasty bitterness. Full body. Another gorgeous Nerdbrewing Stout.

0,33l bottle at home shared with a friend. BB 05/2025. black color, small very dark coffee colored head. smells tonka beans, coconut, oak, bitter chocolate, fudgy, spices, nice to very nice smell. full body, light carbonation. tastes earthy, nutty, marzipan, oak, barrel, some tonka, light soy sauce, coconut, light oxidized, some bitter chocolate, bit fudgy. finishes lightly sweet with notes of tonka, coconut and some fudgy and vanilla notes. very nice one, gets a lot better when warm.

Medium body, smooth, flat. Bitter chocolate, coconut, tonka. Seems thin, needs to warm up methinks. Edit: after warming up more roast and coffee comes out, still very bitter, but a bit of sweetness and bourbon seeps through. Nice.

Aus der Flasche (Vintage 2020) im 2021-02 getrunken. Fast schon typisch für die Nerdbrewing Stouts ist auch hier wieder die dunkelbraune Schaumkrone und die volle Schokoladennote der Röstaromen. Dann dominiert hier klar die Kokusnuss im Vordergrund während die Tonka sich eher im Hintergrund versteckt. Mir ist heute diese Dominanz der Kokusnuss etwas zu viel, aber es bleib auch hier ein ganz tolles IStout.

Bottle, 330 ml shared with Miro B and Max. Black with medium beige head. Roasted malts, chocolate, vanilla, sweet, nice bitter finish. Medium bodied.

Pitch black pour with a dark tan head. Huge tonka up-front, with additional coconut, cinnamon, milk chocolate, cocoa, resinous hops, coffee. Really good stuff, right up my alley. These nerds sure can brew.

330ml bottle, 2020 vintage. Pours black with a brown head. Aroma of chocolate, coconut, tonka. Taste is sweet, chocolate, coconut, tonka, roasty bitterness, some alcohol. Full bodied, thick, smooth.

Bottle as Boolean Oak Aged Imperial Stout W Toasted Coconut & Tonka Beans, 11.8%. Almost black with small beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, vanilla and tonka. Flavour is roasted malt, chocolate, sweet, tonka, vanilla, caramel, spices, warming and a little bitter.
