440ml can. Clear light red, brief fizzy head. Aroma of sweet vimto, very soda like and certinally not fresh. Taste is like a sweet syrupy vimto. Drinkable but underwhelming.

440ml can from Home Bargains, Darlington. Vibrant reddish colour, short-lived fizzy pink foam head and aroma of berry flavoured sweets. Taste is sweet, artificial, berries, blackcurrant, cordial, gummy sweets. Slightly syrupy mouthfeel, light to medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, sweet berry finish. Kind of OK, but too sweet and artificial.

50cl can. Thin pink head. Clear pink red pour. Some fruits but too sweet.....

Can from Quality Save, Manchester. Dark clear red with a heavy carbonation. It’s not surprising to see this (at the time) new product given the rise of Dark Fruit ciders from other companies, however it’s not too cider-like. It has a heavy medicinal feel to it, very sweet, tasting like the ’Lemsip’ blackcurrant cold and cough remedy, which given I was recovering from just that at the time kind of felt apt. It probably tastes awful to a fully healthy person though.
