Bottle. Black. Roast, licorice and blackcurrant in the aroma. Full bodied, only a moderate sweetness. A slight sourness with lots of blackcurrant. Hint of licorice in the finish. What a Nice beer!

Bottle. Black body with a big, dense beige head. Aroma has dark, gently roasted malt, dry fruit, hint of licorice and mild Brett. Taste is quite distinct, but fairly smoot dark malt, licorice, blackcurrants and light funky with Brett and some acidity. Might taste a bit like a combination of a smooth stout and dry apple cider. Fine balanced body and long-lasting aftertaste. A bit unusually but nice.

Sample from bottle at Vectura-messe. Black colour, small tan head. Aroma of roast malts, brettanomyces and blackcurrants. Smooth flavour, slightly sour and fruity, only moderately roasty.
