Bottle at T Burthday. It pours deep brown with a decent beige head. The nose is earthy, dirt, umami, soy sauce, meat and dirt. The taste is bitter, ashy, rough, dirt, spice, treacle, metallic and general filth with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Dirty and basic.

Cask at the Black Country Museum, Dudley. Poured a clear dark brown with a frothy off white head. The aroma is sweet roasted malt. The flavour is medium to light bitter with a dry earthy mineral hop bitter, light caramel palate and a lingering bitter finish. Absolutely gorgeous ale!

Cask at the Windsor Castle, Lye. Pours very dark brown with a small head. Aroma is coffee and cocoa. Taste has milk chocolate to start, piney bitter finish and chocolate on the aftertaste.

Cask at The Wellington; dark mahogany brown pour with a bubbly tan head, fruit and roast aroma, taste has blackberry’s a hint of pine and some dark roasted malts, not the hoppiest of BIPA’s but still quite pleasant.
