Appearance is murky amber, a big clingy beige head. It gushes out of the can very quickly. Aroma- pine, hoppy fruit, orange, stone fruit hints, bit of malt, toffee. Taste- bitter hops, orange and pithy fruit, caramel biscuity presence, soft hop bitterness. Quite sweet towards the end.

Modern intended pale ale from this London craft brewer, at Dok Brewing Festival. Membrane-lacing, off-white, mousy, stable head, misty orange-tinged amber robe. Aroma of dry peanuts, dried thyme, straw, camomile, dry white pepper, hard caramel candy, touch of bubblegum. Cleanly fruity onset, bit powdery from the start with a nonetheless smooth, slender mouthfeel, medium carbonated, peanutty and bread-crusty malt body further dried and spiced by ‘greenish’, field-floral and dried citrus peel-like hop bitterness, quite peppery and long-stretched, with a slightly earthy character. This reminds me most of an English style IPA much more than a present-day APA: this is not far removed from IPA the way it was before it shape-shifted into the many colourful things it can be today – a noble, easily drinkable, quenching, very pleasantly old school English ale. Cheers to that, now that merry old England has become completely dominated by New England and other U.S. style IPAs.

Clear orange beer, creamy white head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: lots of diacetyl, butter, caramel, fruity touch. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bitter, lots of diacetyl, dry, bit grassy, malty. Aftertaste: very bitter, hoppy, bit resinous, more diacetyl, meh.

Can from Growlwrs & Cans, Guildford. Dark and opaque amber. Grass and floral aroma. Fluffy white head. Crisp citrus and bitter. Underlying grains and spice. Light bodied. Thin but slick. Average carbonation. Dry finish. Enjoyable enough.

Fra tap på bryggeripuben. Mørk ferskenfarget. Lavt skum. Litt lacing. Aroma av sukkertøy. Smaken som aromaen. Tørr etter hvert. Bra fylde.

Miniscule beige head left a blotchy cover on a hazy dark coloured still body. Sweet citrus, melon & Haribos aroma. Medium bodied, soft on the palate with a slight tingle on the back. Bitter/sweet citrus, orange, melon, mango, peach & malt hints.
