Cask at PoW, Farnborough. As a lapsed Farnborough FC season ticket holder (Cherrywood Road is where their ground is) I was keen to try this beer when it first came out. Untappd told me it was on here over the weekend and luckily, unlike some other Elusive offerings, this was still on today. Vague malt and caramel aroma, slightly sour edge to it. Dark ruby brown. Thin white head. Some fruity sweetness up front, before it gets bitter. There is a light smokiness to it. The flavours combine it give it a sour edge. Medium bodied. Quite creamy. Flat carbonation. Long smoky finish. Drinkable but not too sure about this. Not sure the mix of flavours works for me. The smokiness gradually takes over.

Cask at the Cock Tavern - Hackney. Pours clear ruby with a small, creamy tan head. Nice aroma, lightly toasted bread, some berry accents. Lightly sweet, with some dried berries, soft leafy bitterness, touches of bread and leather. Light bodied with fine carbonation; nice condition. Balanced finish, some more and leaves, leathery berries. Not bad.

Cask at the Prince Arthur (JDW), Fleet. A dark reddish copper colour with a ring of white head; floral aroma with some light wood smoke; rather thin in the mouth with a fruity, red berry, taste; then a dry finish with a light smokiness. Subtle and well made.

Super clean session mild with a fantastic nose. I want it on cask.
