This straw-coloured ale was first brewed in September 2017 and has been brought back again especially for this Wetherspoon real-ale festival. The infusion of lemongrass provides a zesty lemon nose and a refreshing character throughout.

Tried at the Felix Holt, Nuneaton. Golden colour with a white head. Fruity lemon and hay aroma taste light sweet, touch os sherbert, Medium body

Cask at the Back of Beyond (JDW), Reading. Hazy golden-amber with a thin white head. Lemongrass leads in the smell and taste with white pepper and coriander seed there too. A touch of caramel and- unfortunately- a hint of soap, but reasonably clean and crisp. Lightly dry and spicy finish. I like lemongrass and therefore enjoyed this, but felt it could have been better.

1/3rd pint at Jdw Doncaster. Thin creamy white head. Hazy golden pour. Subtle bitterness and herbal aftertaste.

Cask at the booking office... Golden amber... Thin white lacing. Soft floral fruit nose... Soft sweet fruits.. Zezty lemon orange.. Light lemon grass.. Soft spiced fruit

On cask @ the Bookng Office. Appearance - golden with a decent lacy head. Nose - lemon grass, lime and light herb note. Something custard-like. Taste - more custard and lemon grass. Palate - light bodied with a creamy yet zingy middle section. The finish is dry and refreshing. Overall - nice refreshing ale.

Cask handpull at Crosse Keys JDW London. Lemongrass aroma. Spicy in mouth with more lemongrass. Hazy gold no head. Ok spicy ale. Just about drinkable
