Cask at the White Swan, Spireville, 20/05/16. Golden blonde with a decent off white head. Nose is lemon rind, straw, pale malts, grain. Taste comprises grass, lemon peel, light orange tingle, bread. Medium bodied, soft massaging carbonation, faint citric bitterness in the close. So so golde ... looks and feels good but lacks at the business end.

Cask @ Old Gate, Hebden Bridge. A mid to deeper yellow with a small head. Has a hop-malt aroma and taste, but more of the former than latter.

Cask-conditioned at the Three Tuns, Bristol 29/02/2012. Golden coloured with a slight white head. Sweet aroma of caramel, peaches and pine. Flavour was also sweet, with a buttery edge, some orange fruit and a lengthy bitter finish. Didn’t work for me.

Cask handpull at The Flower Pot, Maidstone. Clear very pale gold, very thin white head. Ascetic hop aroma with a bit of farty yeast and bit of minerality. Decent condition in mouth, but that sulphur fart bad egg thing does run through it. Some decent citrus biting hop bitterness on finish. Yes, the sulphur is a bit distracting. But the finish is really lasting and biting and very good.
