A classic Scottish style ale. Deep mahogany colour with a superb creamy head. Hints of Ovaltine and vanilla complement the slight hop tang. A taste of mellow drama!

I don't remember Caledonian house yeast this good. Super clean. Nice late bitterness. Great beer.

Dark amber. Mellow, malty, soft body, hint of toffee but generally easy-drinking. They do this every year, I guess.

Cask at Halfway House (I think so), Edinburgh. Amber coloured, small off-white head, weak nose with touch of butter. Biscuity malty, caramel and some fruits but overall quite weak and below average bitter.
