Take a bow. Gorgeous flanders red. Exceptionally light. Loads of French oak and St Emillion notes . Super clean. Excellent Rodenbach clone.

750ml bottle that Dad shared with us- quite amazed that Dad got this; his tastes are clearly going up in the world from his usual supermarket bitters! Red-brown with a negligible beige head and a smidgen of fizz. Big rich fruity aroma. On tasting, sweet alcohol and vanilla are set against mildly dry oak; all overlaying rich autumn fruits and red wine set against a toffee, grain and malt base. Warming, heady and very full flavoured, this is a great beer- a little hot on the first taste maybe but it quickly mellowed and improved as I drank more. Nice one- I didn’t know Box Steam (or my Dad!) had it in them.
