Handpull cask at Broood, Leicester. Bright orange gold and clear with an uneven white film of head and considerable lacing. Citrus fruit, toffee and hay on the nose with a savoury - almost cheesy - note. Sweet taste with an odd herbal bittrrness toward the long finish. A considerable hop burn lingers. Intriguing but imperfect.

Pint on tap at Bluecoat, Rotherham. Thick creamy white head. Clear golden pour. Nice bitterness. It doesn't taste like a 6.5% beer.

Cask @ The Cherry Tree, Huddersfield. Golden with a small head. It has a clear strength to it, and a mild sweetness to what would otherwise be a very hoppy ale without it.

Chelmsford Winter Beer Fest (with Rune, Rasmus, Saxo and Camons) @ KEGS. Cask. Clear gold beer, bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth, semi dry and has reasonable fine carbonation. Good sweetish tropical fruits and citrus. Very mild hop spice. Light semi dry finish. Nicely hoppy fruity and smooth.
