Clear golden colour. Light malty sweetness in the aroma and flavour. Quite plain but inoffensive apart from the slightly metallic edge to the finish.

Bottle from Desmond’s Next Door, Kimmage [130714]
Amber, crystal clear, frothy white head that dissipates
Aroma of soft pine, grapefruit, soft floral, sweet soft light malts
Taste of soft sweet pale malts, soft pine, dab of grapefruit, touch floral, dab of sweet biscuit malt
Palate - soft carb, medium body, bit oily, quite sweet, fairly bitter hop. Finish as main flavour.
Overall - Comes across as a moderately hoppy golden ale rather than an APA. Not bad at all.

Clear yellow pour into the pint glass, medium to light white head that dissipated quickly, very little lacing on the glass. Weak watery aroma of hay, freshly mowed grass, biscuit, bread, and floral hops. Taste is very balanced bread and hay with a slight pine and citrus bitterness. Fairly bland and watered down, forgettable.

Cask at SIBA Beer X. Pale yellow. No head. Perfumed. Spicy. A bit greasy. I normally like Saltaire beers. Wasn’t keen on this. Too floral for me.
