Bottle from a colleague and drunk at home. Dark brown red beer. Not really sure what this is. A decent dark brown beer with some dark and red fruits. It's fine. Some bitterness on the finish. Not overly interesting but it hides the ABV pretty well. OK ..

Bottle @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus and Joes. Lightly hazy amber to dark red color, average sized off-white to beige head. Smell and taste lightly malts, lightly sweet, don’t get any pear but hey the beer is ok.

0.33 l bottle from ’Slagerij De Ridder’ (Ouderkerk), best before November 2016. Clear, reddish amber with a medium large, foamy, stable, tan head. Faint, sweetish-malty, fruity aroma of pear, caramel, red berries and some spices. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity taste of caramel, pear, red berries, some licorice and spices, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter, spicy finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, average carbonation. Very subdued notes of pear (may be good or bad), not really convincing, still an okay Red Ale with a Dutch touch. Expected more to be honest though.
