18/10/2018. Keykeg at the Robin Hood Beer & Cider Festival 2018, Nottingham. Pours black with a beige head. Aroma of peat, whiskey, chocolate and roasted malt with notes of vanilla. Medium plus sweetness and moderate bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. Dry, with a warming finish. Very good, beer of the festival for me.

Keg at IMBC 2018, session 6. Pours pours black-brown with a creamy, yellow-tan head. Sweet and ashy, boozy, some dark chocolate, burnt caramel, scorched earth. Full bodied, oily, with fine carbonation. Hot boozy finish, some bitter ash, baking cocoa, more earth. Pretty boozy.
