Bottle @ home shared by Inoven. Clear dark amber to amber-brown color, small to average sized off-white head. Smell and taste malts, herbs and spices, sweetish. Bleh, not my thing at all.

Bottle @ benzai. Clear amber colour with a small white head. Smells honey, sweet. Tastes sweet, honey, malts, decent actually. Medium body, soft carbo.

Flesje thuis gedeeld met familie. Robijnrood helder bier, heftig schuimend tijdens inschenken. Aroma van pruimen en vijgen. Smaak is erg kruidig. Te veel kaneel en kruidnagel. Geen lekkere afdronk.

Sampled from tap courtesy of koelie. Almost clear brown amber with white head. Sweet caramel malts, ginger, speculaas, cloves. Very sweet and very heavily spiced. Ontbijtkoek. Light bitter. 330ml bottle from Jumbo in Alkmaar - Thin brown body, no head. Nose is artificial sweetener and spice. All the same in the mouth. Not a classic.

30cl Bottle from AH. Clear deep copper colour, off-white head. Aroma of cinnamon, ginger, root beer, speculaas, hint of metal. Flavour is medium sweet to sweet, soapy ginger, root beer, speculaas, cinnamon, spicy finish, light metallic. Light bodied. Overdone, but not completely undrinkable for a Grolsch beer. And not a bock, please.. S/H/V.

Bottle. Light brown color. Aroma of sweet malt, cinnamon, vanilla, sweet spice and raisin. Taste is really sweet, with cinnamon, creamy vanilla, malt, raisin and fruit cookie. I understand why most people hate it, but I don’t think it’s that bad.
