Bottle. Light brown color. Aroma of sweet malt, cinnamon, vanilla, sweet spice and raisin. Taste is really sweet, with cinnamon, creamy vanilla, malt, raisin and fruit cookie. I understand why most people hate it, but I don’t think it’s that bad.

30 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Plus, Culemborg. Clear dark amber with an off-white head. Sweet caramel aroma with some herbal and spicy notes. Taste is sweet, mouthfeel is thin. A typical Grolsch beer: too sweet and too bland to be interesting.

Clear amber brown colour, small frothy beige head, good retention and lacing. Sweet sugary aroma, sweet malts, cola, bit roast, winegums, candy sugar, hint of vanilla. Taste medium heavy sweet, malty, slightly bitter, sugary. Sweet sugary aftertaste, herbal notes, medium body, oily to watery texture, soft carbonation, unbalanced, disappointing.

Fles van de AH, schenkt helder koperrood met geel/witte kraag (volle). Aroma is enorm kruidig, veel kaneel, speculaas, zoete honing, nootmuskaat, kruidnagel en anijs een echt winterbier. Smaken zijn enorm kruidig, zwak bitter, redelijk zoet, matige tot redelijke body, lange kruidige afdronk, maar hé wat wil je... het is een winterbier, en dat wetende is het niet eens zo slecht...

Bottle. Color: Ruby red, off white head. Taste: Is this really a beer? Smells like soap or something like that. Way too much spices, mostly cinnamon and cloves. Luckily there are some hints of beer too, but it’s very hard to drink the whole bottle.
