From base malts through to speciality malts, we use only the best British grown barley to add depth and color to our beer. Our Pale Ale has a mixture of American and Australian hops giving flavour and aroma. We use Cascade from the USA to add grapefruit, citrus and gooseberry whilst Summer from Australia adds melon and apricot aromas. European hops give it a crisp bitter finish. All this adds up to a balanced, flavoursome beer at 5.1% ABV.

Bottled. Hazy golden colour with a small white creamy head. Aorma is peach, some sweet toffeeish maltiness and a bit wooden tones. Flavour is peach, some toffee, crisp biscuity notes with mild floral bitterness to it. Easygoing, but could do with a little bit more bitterness.

Bottle shared in London - thanks to Dave. Pours hazy gold with a creamy, white head. The nose holds crusty bread, grains, minerals. Light sweet flavour with some lemon rind, flinty minerals, tangerine, pale bread. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with more citrusy hops, flinty dryness. Not bad.
