A while back we celebrated our 400th brew, and we said it would be something special. Well here it is - Cherry Tonkoko. We took a super-strength brew of Tonkoko and out in stacks of cherries to secondary ferment. Vegan-friendly.

440ml can. Pours black with a big dark brown head. Aroma of cherries, chocolate, tonka, coconut. Taste is sweet and very rich, tonka, cherries, dark chocolate, roast malts, vanilla and coconut, tart cherry finish. Full bodied, thick, very smooth. Although great I think the original is still best.

Cask @ Crown & Kettle, Manchester. Black with a creamy light brown head. It has a mildly sweetened dark malt nose with cherry at its most evident in its taste, but subdued by its strength - as are its roasted malts. It's dryish and mildly sticky-sweet.
