Kupfer ist ein feuriges Rotbier mit einer Stammwürze von 14,5 %.
Es wurde in unserem historischen Kupfersudhaus aus „geschwitztem Malz“ und mineralreichem Wasser eingebraut. Erstmalig haben wir einen Sud mit ungetrocknetem Frischhopfen mild gewürzt!

330 ml bottle. Unclear amber with a fluffy head. Very resinous hops, zesty hops, lemony hops, caramel, roasted malt, stone fruit. Hoppy zesty bitterness, malty sweetness. Medium to full bodied, oily texture, lively to soft carbonated, dry hoppy zesty bittersweet finish. A nice hoppy Amber Lager, indeed very similar to an American Pale Ale, yet a lager. Could imagine this as a Hoppy Black Lager, that would be even better!

Huge thanks to quack-duck for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass amber coloured, nice head. Starts mild, malty, spicy. Herbal notes, mild sweetness. Shy hopy. Finish well balanced, spicy malty. Quite drinkable. Nice!

Flascherl (Vielen Dank am See! ): Unexpectedly copper coloured, hazy, big loose off-white head, that slowly collapses, moderate bitter-sweet aroma of grassy and herbal-spicy hops with a soft sweet (caramelly) malty background; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, surely medium bodied; lingering spicy bitter and caramelly finish. A well balanced goody...

Bottle from local Gefako. Clear orange amber, creamy off-white head. Robust malty base, fragrant hops with citrusy hints. Nice one.

33cl bottle. A clear amber beer with a big beige head. Aroma of grapefruits, mild resinous hops and reddish malt. Taste of reddish malt, resins, citrus, caramel and mild grapefruit. Moderate bitterness. Good!
