Bouteille 33cl, merci Madalin, BB 05/01/2020.

330mL bottle at Fabrica de Bere Luna, pours black with a small brown head. Aroma is really rich, with a rich red wine barrel character upfront, sitting atop rich roasted malt and wood. Flavour is very rich, with a brutal roasted malt base, accentuated by woody, red wine barrels, and a good punch of hops to balance. Well-rounded, with a lot of body. A bit too abrasive, but I very much appreciate it. Excellent.

BOTTLE 33 CL from Berero. Pitch black, dark mocha head. Black thick roasty aroma, clear yet subtle wine barrel tart notes. The sweetness is barely coming through to your nose, but it's surely there. The taste is ""big and bad", and bitter - lots of pungent grassy hops in the finish. There's also some winey tartness - but not the tannins - rounded out but a small barely detectable amount of residual sweetness. Smooth mouthfeel. Really like this bitter, roasty and winy balance.
