Shared 500 ml bottle at local tasting, as Raasted 1 Chili Lakrids Porter, from Fakta, Denmark. ABV is 5.5%. Black colour, moderate to low beige head. Nice but moderate aroma of chili and liquorice, also notes of mild coffee. Medium roasty and fairly dry flavour, the liquorice is fairly subdued, but the chili leaves a nice warming throatfeel.

Bottle 50 cl. The new version at 5,5% called "Raasted 1 Chili Lakrids Porter". Sweet roasty nose - no chili at this point. Medium body, roast and licorice with a very late chili bite - but it’s definitely there. 030315

50 cl bottle @ Mallaskukko, BBE 08/2015. Aroma has licorice, saltiness, herbs and roasted tones. Flavour has ash, some peppery tones, licorice and mellow chili burn. Also rubbery tones and some saltiness. A bit watery and disappoining after the aroma. Easy-going anyway and the mild chili burn is nice.

Bottle. A dense, dark beige head of two-finger size leaves lacings over a very dark brown body. The aroma has a touch of chili, but mostly it’s licorice and rosted malts. Some sweetish notes too, and a little prune touch. Salty licorice, roasted notes, chocolate hints, chili, some prunes and a touch of booze on the palate. Full-bodied and lightly burning, with a nice carbonation. Lasting finish with lots of salty licorice. Tyrkisk PΓ¦ber candy. Nice, but not a beer I could drink a whole lot of. 140815
