Almost perfectly transparent plain golden. Low to medium sized white head, good enough retention and some lacing. A simple, refreshing aroma with saaz-like hoppiness upfront: floral/meadowy, light grassiness, delicate citric hints, a touch of prickly spiciness; maltiness very much in the background with a bit of hay/straw. Not a very strong aroma, but pleasant in it's light freshness. Taste notes follow the aroma closely, again not high intensity but quite good definition. Light to medium sweetness and bitterness, i'd say both a bit on the low side for the style, with a well balanced, quite neutral overall feeling. Quite light bodied as obvious, not as carbonated as most czech pilsners but still nicely lively; excellent drinkability, which is very much what you'd expect in a vycepni. Overall: felt kind of german in it's delicate, mild character, though still czech in taste. Anyways: simple, refreshing, well made, appreciated.

Tap at Lajka. Golden color with thick white head. Aroma of malt, light hops. Taste is malty, light diacetyl, light acetyldehyd, almost no hops.

Draught at the brewpub - Hazy golden yellow with a white head. Bread, grain and grass in the aroma. Grain, citrus and some grassy and floral notes in the taste. Refreshing.

Draught, 4.3% at the brewpub. Weak bready aroma. Cloudy golden colour. Good stable white head. The flavour is citric, bready with a fruity hop and dryish finish. Good mouthfeel.

On tap at Lajka, Prague. Clear golden, small off-white head. Light bready aroma, very soft yeasty touch. Also a very soft fruity touch, not perfectly clean but pleasant. Lightly sweetness, soft to moderate carbonation, dry finish.

Draught @ Brewpub. Pours hazy Golden with a small creamy head. Weak hint of dms - boiled vegetables on top. Beneath the bready Brewpub malts. Very soft and smooth. Such a mega shame.

Tap at the brewery. Not much more to say, other than this being a classic desitka. Very clean, very well balanced, very easy drinking. Nice med-high carbonation, reasonable med-light body. Grassy herbal hoppiness, soft malts. Great.
