23/12/2023. Bottle shared at EBGPF. From Thornbridge Brewery Shop, Bakewell. Pours hazed dark amber bronze with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma is delightful sour cherry, wood, berries, yeast, funky, sherry, barnyard, hint of vaseline. Medium sweetness, light bitterness, moderate tartness, very dry. Medium body, average carbonation. Delicious.

Bottled@Littlepub, Vaasa. Coppery brown colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is nicely tart red currant with some cherries, red wine and mild madeira tones to it. Flavour is red currant, some cherries, mild funky tones with fudge, some wood and mild nutty tones. Nicely dry palate and a pleasant dry/tart bite too. Makes you want another sip. And another. And yet another.

(Bottle) Hazy brownish red colour with frothy, beige head. Fruity, sourish nose with notes of oak wood, balsamic vinegar, sour cherries, caramel, almonds, blood orange and pink grapefruit. Fruity, malty, tart taste with oak wood, tart cherries, balsamic vinegar, red fruit, some red wine tannins and brown sugar. Fairly low bitterness. More than medium body, with a slight sweetness. Really tasty, with a rich oaky tartness. Very nice.

From my brother, 2018 vintage: pours dull brownish red with a small head. Aroma is cherry, vinegar, light funk. Taste is sweet, loads of cherries, fairly acidic. Nice aftertaste. Good.
