26-04-20 // can from brewery online shop. Crazy deep red color. Fine bubbly pinkish head, quickly fading. Nose is indeed a blend of blueberry and lavender. Lovely how the lavender blends in. Good acidity. Kettle sour style. Full bodied blueberry juicy. Lavender only very subtle in taste. Canned, 330 ml. Deep purple with nice purple head. Berries, some lavender, bit lactic in back, tart, medium sourness. Somewhat puckering. Interesting lavender twist.

0.33 l can from Spicy Days, Zagreb. Shared with little Dina. Deep purple, small pink head. Aroma is predominantly fruity, red fruit, blueberry or blackberry, plum, then sour berries. A soft metallic note in the beginning, disappeared quickly. Blueberry candy. Juicy, sour fruit, fruit jam, very sour cherry, sour grapes. Citric and malic acid more than lactic. Moderate to high carbonation. Gentle but lasting sour finish. Lots of fruit character. Smooth and dank.

Can, from the brewery. Murky, murky very dark red/purple body, pink head. Blueberry puree mixed with subtle lavender in the aroma, along with some tartness. Lean, juicy taste, lemony tartness, the lavender-blueberry mix shows up, with the lemon being VERY present in the finish (Dario.... more? really?). The pH is actually more balanced than in the Dry Hopped Sour, which actually makes it drinkable, in combination with the fruitiness. Pretty good but tooo sharply sour to be of much interest to me.

Can, 0.33l. Hazy deep purple pour, one finger frothy magenta head. Quite colourful, I got to give it that! Anyways, medium lasting head that leaves some lacing as it goes down. Tart and fruity nose, a bit mild, blueberry and lavender notes as expected. Thin to medium body, soft but lively carbonation. Refreshing prickly mouthfeel, average texture. Sour and tart taste with moderate sweet notes. Aroma of lavender, blueberries and citrus tart. Citric acid, hints of cinnamon in the aftertaste. Mild malty background, subtle sweetness, gets a bit sticky. Long lasting finish, sour and dry. Good one. They should have named it Deep Purple. :)

Canned 330ml. -from Goblet Zagreb. Deep purple coloured, medium sized pink head, mild blueberry and lavender nose. Noticable and quite refreshing blueberry and lavender taste with pleasant citrusy notes. Acidic and slightly tart finish. Really nice one.

Can. Hazy magenta beer, good bright magenta head. Colourful. Airy palate, semi dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Slightly tart blueberry but bright as well, none of that have overripe stodgy mustiness that for me is the essence of blueberry and the primary reason it's near the bottom of my fruit list. Crisp snappy blueberry in the mid. The lavender is very well executed. This could have easily turned into perfumery nonsense. But the lavender is there in the background, both enhancing and contrasting the blueberry. Crisp and semi dry finish. Fuck me! Two great blueberry beers in one weekend (Cheers Amundsen) Just when you think you have seen it all...
