India Pale Lager K-45 je kombinace 2 pivních stylů. Vzali jsme to nejlepší z ležáku a okořenili ho pořádnou dávkou chmele jako u IPA. Výsledkem je chuťově netradiční ležák s vyšší hořkostí a specifickým chmelovým aroma. Jako úplně první jsme měli možnost otestovat českou odrůdu chmele Kazbek ve formě obohacených pelet G45. Ty se získávají kryogenní separací lupulinu z chmelových hlávek. Tímto postupem je odstraněn balastní materiál a docílí se intenzivnější a čistější chmelové aroma.

Bottle from the Velký/Malý webstore. Pale golden body, clear, white head. Full on blasts of the specific flowery-fruity Kazbek over a nicely grainy maltiness. The hoppiness dominates, the white berry notes that Kazbek gives being almost juicy, but the graininess shows up underneath, with a herbal-peppery bitterish kick in the finish, quite interesting. Dunno, lovely at moments, a bit rough in the finish at others, still, quite impressive. Maybe I'm slightly overrating it, but it really hit the spot!
