On tap @La Maripepa, Madrid. 23/10/2022. Color negro opaco corona de espuma beige, aromas cacao, tostados, sabor cacao, dulce, cuerpo sedoso.

440ml can from the brewery. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a mostly lasting frothy off-white head. The aroma is roasty malt and big caramel. The flavour is over moderate sweet, with a smooth, rich, slightly oily, sweet caramel lactose palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. Tasty.

Black beer. Thin head soon fizzles out. Light aroma of milk chocolate and coffee. Flavour follows up with more of the same. A little toasty malt and some caramel in there too. Decent body to it. Good stuff.

Clear red brown beer, small dense creamy irregular beige head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: lots and lots of caramel, sweet, some vanilla, caramel flan, milk chocolate. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: lots of caramel, sweet touch, nice roast, malty, somewhat nutty, soft acidity. Aftertaste: soft hop bitterness, some vanilla, caramel, malty, grains, lovely beer!

Cask @ Fox & Goose, Hebden Bridge. Very dark with lots of lactose and light but flavoursome caramel. It's smooth.

Tried at the Cardinals Hat, Lincoln. Deep ruby with a thin head. Aroma is coffee and toffee. Taste sweet molasses. Medium body.
