Rikki Riesling is a blend of DUST saison with Riesling grape must from the Mosel region. To intensify the beer, we dry hopped Rikki with Hallerau Blanc hop which adds rich aroma's that remind of white wine or gooseberries.

Dull blond colour with lasting head. Compared to the Nelson/Chardonnay version this has less wine and more of the base Saison. Perhaps a bit too sweet. Certainly plain and quite safe.

7/IV/20 - 33cl bottle from Geers (Vichte), shared @ home, BB: XI/2021 (2020-307)
Little cloudy orange beer, big dense solid creamy off-white head, very stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: bit fruity, spicy, some peaches, pears, dry, some banana, very floral, slightly soapy, phenols. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: nice acidic start, very fruity, bit sourish, fruity notes, floral, citrus touch. Aftertaste: yeasty, some banana, fruity, nice bitterness, soft acidity, alcohol, some nail polish, little chemical in the finish.

2 February 2020. At Brugs Bierfestival. Cheers to Anke & Jerre! Hazy ochre, lasting, thick, foamy, white head. Aroma of white grapes, mandarin, apricot, straw, wood, white wine. Taste has sweetish mandarin & apple, quite yeasty with a woody & straw-like bitterness, soft bready maltiness underneath. Dry, earthy hoppy finish, lingering wood, straw & bitter grapes. Medium body, creamy texture, fizzy carbonation. More wine-like than the Pinot brother, but I prefer the latter.
