Murky dark blond colour with no head. Aroma is yeasty and has some fruity esters. Flavour is a bit plain. Light grainy. Light spicy yeast.

Bottle from De Hopduvel. Hazy golden colour, white creamy foam. Nose of citrus, wheat, iron, some grape. Taste is medium bitter, irony, some grape juice, bitter and dry finish. Too much carbonation. A bit unbalanced. I'm not very impressed.

11/IV/20 - 33cl bottle from De Hopduvel (Gent), shared @ home, BB: XI/2021 (2020-331)
Clear orange to beige beer, big frothy creamy yellowish head, stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very malty, cow fodder, grains, hay, bit funky. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very funky, bit dirty, sulphur, cardboard, some nailpolish, vanish cleaning products, soft acidity, tannins, unpleasant bitterness, pretty chemical, not bad. Aftertaste: dry and spicy, bit dusty, somewhat oxidized, dirty touch, rotting banana peel, tannins, dirty, don’t like it, pretty bad.

2 February 2020. At Brugs Bierfestival. Cheers to Anke & Jerre! Hazy ochre, lasting, small, frothy, white head. Aroma of ripe white grapes, banana peel, ripe apple, apricot, yeast, bread. Taste has soft sweet banana & apple, solid bready maltiness & yeast, only slightly bitter. Woody, dry, grassy hoppy finish, lingering grapes & soft esters. Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Nice blend of Saison & wine.
