Gravity cask at the Real Ale Classroom, Stoneygate, Leicester. Mid-brown with a noticeable translucency and a small loose beige head. Light aroma, some gently sour woody notes and some caramel malt. Well-balanced taste with that tongue-coating tang that so many good bitters have. Long finish with bittering hips dominant. Watery and slightly flat body. A mixed bag but pretty good all in all.
