Monday 2nd Nov 2020: Monthly Beer Share at Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Four hardy souls and plenty of variety, some good snacks too! Cheers Mike for the 330ml can of this. Mini-haze to the golden body, white topping. Citrus bite to this barley wine, light sweetness within the booziness.

Keg at the Rake, 06/11/19. Pale yellow with a decent white head. Nose gives off a good bourbon waft, caramel, light fruit esters, alcohol, candied fruits. Taste comprises caramel, stewed fruits, sugar cane, good bourbon rip, prunes, light spice. Medium plus bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Not a bad sipper ... all comes in well below the hefty ABV but perhaps also lacking depth for a 11% jobbie ?!

750ml bottle. Wax dipped job. Mr. Pickles, Sheffield. Had this about a year. Totnes is on the brink of divorce. Ruddy is more miserable than ever. I’m holding it in, somehow, despite the recent obsession with chilli eating vids. Missus is going insane. Bring it on. 11% fruity number is a fucking breeze. Any left?
