Blond beer with fruity and spicy notes, pleasantly sweet and with a balanced finish. Achille - The bread that turns into beer! Indeed, bread is made from cereals, just like beer. The latter will naturally replace 25% of the malt used in the brewing of the Achilles range.

75cl bottle shared with Eric for Soph's birthday in Eecke. Pours a clear gold, good white head. Malty nose. Nice enough blonde, fairly simplistic, balanced malty character, just sweet enough with a mild bitter hop close. Fine.

Bottle from Carrefour and drunk at home Clear gold copper colour lasting white head. Blond biere de garde aroma so some pale malt some yeast some spicy citrus hops. So far so standard. In the mouth it continues with a 6% abv blond mouthfeel and flavour. Finish has moderate bitterness from citrus spicy hops. Completely standard for this style of beer but well made and tasty enough. Solid. I happen to like this style of beer

75cl bottle from Auchan supermarket in Hirson, France. F: big, egg-white, good retention. C: deep gold, light hazy. A: malty, orange peels, spicy, fruity, bready, bit hoppy. T: medium malty base, vaguely fruity, honey, bready, spicy, decent bitterness, metallic touch, medium carbonation, nothing really special here, at least some bread have been saved :)
