Helles, the Freedom way. Not happy with simply replicating a Munich style Helles, we use an organic malt which showcases the organic Hallertau Tradition hops to deliver a full bodied beer packed full with delicate flavours. And if that wasn’t enough it’s certified organic and Vegan too.

Bottle at the Everyman cinema in Marlow. Pale gold with a fine but rather prickly fizz and a thin white head. A little sweet buttery malt up front before some herby grass and a bit of urine come through. There's a hint of industrial lager to it, but it's not too bad I guess.

Train beer, golden, clear pour with a white head. Aroma of malts and hops, taste similar with some herbs and a hint of citrus. Well done for the organic ingredients.

330ml can. Gold, small white foamy head, no retention. Aroma of malts, straw, grass; doesn't have that clean German lager note. Taste is semi-sweet, malts, straw, some grain. A decent bitter bite at the end. Average.

330ml bottle. Poured a crystal clear golden colour with a short-lived fizzy white head and lots of bubbles. The aroma is grainy malt, yeasty, light floral woody hop. The flavour is moderate to light bitter, with a light, crisp, watery, mineral, woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average to lively carbonation.

(Keg at a Le Pain Quotidien, but 20191017)The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass, grain and malts. Palate was medium bodied with rather high carbonation. Flavours were grass, grain, lightly sweetness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was grainy and bitter. A nice grassy and grainy brew with too fizzy palate and too mild bitterness at the finish.

330ml bottle: BBD 18th Apr 17. Poured into a Duvel glass at home on 30th Oct 16. Very pale golden yellow body, clean and clear: the head a full white affair. Floral and slightly malty nose, taste reversed, malts first, floral hops second. Nice easy drinking brew, mild bitterness in the finish and a pleasant thirst quencher after some manual work in the garden.
