Cask @ Fox And Goose, Hebden Bridge. Clear copper-amber, fairly dark with a caramelesque creamy-smooth head. Crisp and smoothish bitter with a mid-bitterness and malt.

Tried at the 2016 Nottingham Beer Festival. Cloudy amber colour with an off white head. malty caramel aroma and taste. dull

Handpump half pint at the brew pub. Medium creamy white head. Clear amber pour. A decent bitter.

Bottle shared at the ChrisO Flags of Many Nations Easter Tasting 2013 - London. Pours clear, red-brown with a fine, bubbly tan head. Toasty bread in the nose, some toasted leaves. Light sweet flavor with tangy leaves, leathery fruits. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Mellow leafy bitter finish, earth, dry toast. Very basic offering.

Bottle 500ml.Clear medium red amber colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, vintage - keller, berry, wood notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, caramel, wood. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20130330]

Bottle at Chriso Easter "Flags of many nations" Tasting, 31/03/13. Clear chestnut brown with no head. Nose is dark malt, grain, light fart. Taste comprises barley, grain, toffee. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, light bitterness in the finish. A pretty bland and boring bitter.
