Can from the brewery. Black pour, large dark brown head. Roasty, burnt coffee, soft vanilla, some soy, hints of cocoa. Mouth feel is a touch thin, medium carb. Decent impy, but a touch light.

Can from the brewery. Tastes of coffee, booze, ash and with a lingering bitterness. Feels a little thinner on the palate than I expected. Fairly middle groundm

This stout poured a deep black colour with a brown creamy head. Nice lacing. Scents include burnt toast, coffee, molasses and dark cocoa. First swig was thick, creamy and flavourful. Flavours of coffee, dark cocoa and ash. Finish is slightly sweet with dark coffee flavours lingering.

Tasting at Brian's, can
The colour is near black. Some chocolate, some dark bread, sweetish, light vanilla, but the malt flavour is not very rich, the result is fairly shallow.

Jet brown with a small brown head. Lots of cocoa and some roast. Tons of cocoa and some nice roast and a touch of bitterness.

473mL can, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma reveals medium roasted malt, a little vanilla, and dry coffee beans. Flavour is along the same lines, with high roast, dry coffee and a hint of vanilla. Nice addition of coffee and vanilla, with a big roasty base. Good stuff.
