21/VI/20 - 33cl bottle from the brewery, shared @ home, BB: V/2022, bottled: V/2020 (2020-545)
Clear deep reddish brown beer, small creamy beige head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: ripe banana, caramel, very malty, grains, gentle roast. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: soft bitterness, roast, dark chocolate, hoppy, some coffee, alcohol touch, more a porter than a scotch. Aftertaste: bitter, caramel, bit sweet, malty, grains, roasted and bitter, dry finish, cocoa powder.
Paired with a pizza bianca with blue cheese, sliced fennel and fennel frond pesto, and fresh arugula.
