On tap at the brewpub. Clear, dark reddish amber with a beige head. Sweetish, slightly spicy aroma of caramel, some chocolate and a touch of raisins. Sweetish-malty, slightly spicy taste of caramel, some chocolate, dark honey, some raisins and a faint hint of nail polish, followed by a short, slightly bitter, a little spicy finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay.

Tap @ Van Moll. Murky brown colour with a small off-whitw head. Smells malty, raisins, typical abbey double smell. Not my style. Tastes sweet, slightly roasty, some coffee, slightly raisins. Tastes better than expected, I don’t really like abbey dubbels and this smelled like one. Thin to medium body, highly drinkable, nice carbo.
