(bottle) Clear, deep golden colour with a small foamy white head. Sweet bready malty and slightly worty aroma with a tinge of honey and shy floral hops in the background. Sweet flavour, medium to light bodied with a slightly sharp carbonation. Bready malty taste, again traces of honey and unfermented wort. Sweet malt-accented finish with obvius alcoholic notes and a light flowery touch. Smells and tastes a bit unfinished (16.IV.09).

(bottle) Clear golden colour with a small foamy white head. Sweet malty aroma with honey and a pleasant hoppy touch. Sweet and slightly toasted malty taste, honeyish, moderately hoppy and light-bitter finish, well balanced and aromatic.

bottle, kindly delivered by pivnizub. Clear golden yellow, mid-sized white head, flowery hoppy nose. Medium- to vull-bodied, solid malty base with nice flowery hoppy flavours, as many of their beers have. Very nice indeed.
Earlier Rating: 10/7/2008 Total Score: 3.4
bottle. Clear deep golden colour, large head. Malty, slightly sweet with some hints of roasted malt, herbs and caramel. Well-balanced, a delicious brew.

Clear pale gold; slightly yellow-coloured dense head. Dry, herbal (...bog myrtle?...) nose, and a little bit of human sweat, mixing in with the herbs. On the sharp of the edge between dry and sweet; unfortunately completely ruined by a flavour of "Old Spice" hairoil - that was definitely NOT my own aftershave! Light but not empty. Ho-hum lager version. Not the one destined for MY Easterbrunch...Earlier Rating: 10/21/2006 Total Score: 3.4Clear gold with a little coppery shine; fluffy white medium head. Malty nose, fresh malts from the brewery loft, but going over imperceptibly into hoppy, grassy notes. Soft-sweet taste with a marked soft water quality. Bit leafy, but restrained. Soft, nearly creamy MF, the water is there for something. Immediately pleasing, but in the end pretty average, slightly stronger blond beer.

Bottle. Nice, spicy and hoppy aroma. Copper colour, small white head. The flavour has the same characteristics as the aroma, peppery, spicy and good.

Bottle. Sweet hoppy, brick-dusty aroma. Golden colour, unstable white head. Flavour has a nice flowery aromatic hoppiness, slightly sweet and slightly dusty. A lot better than expected.

Bottled. (The label says WinterTraum) Clear, golden beer with a small white head. It has a weak aroma of sweet malt and some alcohol. Sweet, malty and light bitter flavor. The body is medium to full. Finish is sweet, bitter and with some metallicness. (060325)

Test vom 25.1.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 6,7,7,6,7,6 - 6,35

An orange beer with a collapsing white head. The aroma is hoppy with notes of corn? The flavor is sweet with notes of straw and yeast, leading to a dry hoppy end.
Earlier Rating: 4/7/2004 Total Score: 2.7
The aroma is sweet of honey and caramel. The color is dark yellow and it has no head. The flavor is also sweet of honey and caramel - very simpel, but with an OK hoppy end.

Bitterness and some vegetable aroma. Golden low head. Surprisingly rich taste, spicy and flowery and at least a bit more interesting than all the other german x-mas brews I tried. Body is too light though and nothing of the taste lingers on.
