Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 22/12/24. Murky fruit smoothie orange topped with a just off white cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is mango pulp, mixed tropicana, grass, pine resin, lychee. Taste comprises bitter orange, grass, pineapple, melon, mango, dank spike. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spattered with juicy come grassy hop bitterness. Tidy IPA.

Can. This edition adds Idaho 7 to the Citra and Galaxy. Hazy orange gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Airy palate, a good fine minerally crispness. Fluffy pale malts, a pronounced creamy sweetness. Phantom going right up to the line of overly sweet here, a line they cross too often. Good crisp bright hoppy fruits, broad spectrum citrus with decent mango and stone fruits supporting. Crisp finish brings a little hop spice. Nice job on the hop front.

Keg at Phantom Tap Room, Reading, Berks. A hazy golden orange coloured pour with a decent off white head on top. Hoppy, citrus, orange, grapefruit, mango, tropical fruit taste/aroma is similar. A juicy and rather tasty IPA from Phantom.

(Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm, 19 Feb 2022) Cloudy golden colour with creamy, off-white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with grapefruit, mango and pineapple. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of tropical fruit, grapefruit, pineapple, mango, pine needles and a balanced citric/tropical bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Fresh, juicy and really tasty. Very nice.

440ml can from Off The Tap, Maidenhead. Poured a very hazy golden orange colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, stone fruit, mangoes, pineapple. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a super fresh, crisp, light grassy hop, juicy tropical citrus, light pepper spice, dry hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Right up there with the best.

Can ordered from A Hoppy Place, Windsor. Piney aroma with a stone fruit edge. Hazy peach. Creamy translucent white head. Medium bitter. Sour edge. Juicy. Stone fruit with a resinous bite. Spice. Underlying fruit sugar comes through into the finish. Medium bodied. Slick, silky mouthfeel. Average carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. This one delivers. Fruity but crisp and bitter.
