Draught @ Black Door
Fruity aroma with hops, toffee, caramel and hints of hay. Flavour has english hops, some hay, toffee and grapefruit. A bit disappointing after the aroma. An IPA with the strength of west coast ones - but with English materials.

(Keg at Black Door, 20130831) The beer poured deep golden and clear. Its head was small and white. Aroma had fruitiness, peach and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, citricness, bread, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A decent hoppy pale ale.

Cask at GBBF 2013. It pours clear yellow with a small white head. The nose is icing sugar, apple, pear, melon and candied peel. The taste is smooth, bitter-sweet, apple, pear, melon, lemonade, touch of alcohol, light resin and decent bitterness with a warming, bitter finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Pretty easy going and well-balanced. Decent.
