Bottle at an open-air café in Forschheim, March 2015* 3.0. Golden-orange color, clear, with a fine, low head. Worty nose, grains, some caramel, a bit of grass. Malty, bready flavor, some stone fruits. Rather lame. August 2018. accidentally bought this again. Still pretty lame. Ok malts, light esters, some light hops. Meh. Wonder if it was better in MJ’s day or if he was just spreading the love around... Today, this is easily surpassed by 100 better local kellerbiers.

Bottle thanks to Dutchdrebus. Clear slight orange golden color, medium sized fairly quickly diminishing off-white head. Smell and taste malts, hayish and a slight weird, slightly sticky flavor. Low to medium body and carbonation.

Bottle @ home shared with benzai. Crystal clear golden colour with a medium sized off-white head. Smells malts, fresh, slightly caramel, herbs. Tastes malty, sweetish, corn (the dried cattlefeed stuff). Thin to medium body, nice carbo.

50cl Bottle at In de Wildeman. Clear light amber colour, white head. Aroma of bread, malts, light sweet, light hoppy. Flavour is sweet, malty, bit of caramel, bread, light grassy hoppy finish. Light to medium bodied. Goes down well.

Das Bier schmeckt typisch "landbierig", hopfig herb ist das Hauptaroma. Wässrig ist das Bier ab dem Mittelteil, im Nachgeschmack wirds süßlich. Kann man trinken - man kanns auch lassen. Durch den wässrigen Geschmack sehr charackterschwach.
