Sample at CBC 2015. Black with a small tan head. Aroma of light roasted malt, some sour berries and licorice. The taste was rather heavy with light roasted malt, licorice, wood and sour berries. The finish was dry and sour.

Pours black with low light tan head. Aroma of dark cherries, liqourice, raisins. Taste is sour with cherries and blackcurrant. Light body and soft carbonation.

Aroma has vinegar and some mild licorice tones. Also some red wine and wood. Flavour has strong, acidic wine tones, citrus and vinegar. Not my thing, the acidicness affects drinkability. No signs of stout here.

Draught @ CBC 2015 Pours pitch black with a thick brown head. Aroma of roasty malts, spices, salty licorice, berries, hints of sourness and tart earthy notes. Taste is heavy with berries, wood, sourness, tart fruits, earthy notes and licorice. Finish is smooth, sweetish and slightly sour with loads of berries, syrup, hints of licorice, wood and yeast. Quite a berry overdose.
